Welcome to TheBridgeAfrica!

Our dream is to create a workforce enterprise that will reduce on the number of unprepared graduates by creating Career Resource Centers in East African universities and beyond. How does it work? We Connect the Workforce (Graduates) to You (The Employer) and prepare them with the right skills necessary to excel on Day-1. We operate in an ecosystem where skills development is done early and intensely with industry benchmarks to meet everyone's expectations.

Our Journey

The Vision: A champion of competency based learning tools for entry level workforce in Africa. The Mission: To assemble workforce development tools and industry players for market ready status of East African graduates.

Our philosophy is sure and solid! As an intervention on the Education-to-Employment highway, we believe that, Education providers and employers must actively step into one another’s worlds. Employers and education providers must work with the students EARLY and INTENSELY.

How We do it?

The Process

WE IDENTIFY THE EMPLOYER

TheBridgeAfrica starts by meeting students in their most natural environment – the university. We set up learning spaces called Career Resource Centers from where relevant employers interact with graduates in their transition.

WE EQUIP THE GRADUATE

We employ a co-training model alongside employers and professional associations. Our students spend 50% of the training time in the employer's workplace thus exposing to the world of work early and intensely

WE MENTOR

We pair all our students with mentors drawn from President Obama’s - Mandela Washington Fellows, giving them access to an Africa-wide network of young intellectuals under the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI).
